General installation instructions

• Always mount the computer unit separately from the volume measuring section (e.g.
using an optional mounting kit).
• Insulate the volume measuring section in an impermeable manner.
• This meter is not suitable for glycol/water mixtures (incorrect measurement).
• Lay the connection of the volume measuring section and temperature sensor to the
computer unit with a drip loop for condensation water.
• Always feed the cable into the computer unit from below.
Assembly of the volume measuring section
• Preferred installation locations (condition as supplied):
- Cold meter outlet/high temperature
• Optional installation locations (change in configuration required)
- Cold meter inlet/low temperature
Combination meter
This chapter only describes the properties and functions of the combination meter which
differ from those of the heat meter.
Operating conditions
• Protection class flow sensor
• Medium temperature

• Mount the volume measuring section rotated by ≤ 45° in relation to the horizontal pipe
axis.
