Installation

General installation instructions

Observe the environmental conditions!
!
When selecting the installation location, pay attention to the length of the fixed
connected sensor cable.
Do not carry out any welding, soldering or drilling work in the vicinity of the meter.
Only install meters in operational systems.
Protect meters against damage from impacts or vibration.
When commissioning, open the shut-off valves slowly.
Install the volume measuring section isolated from the power supply. Ensure that the
pipes leading to and from the volume measuring section is properly secured and
supported.
Volume measuring section / computer unit installation
The flow direction can be recognised from the arrows on the volume measuring section
as well as on the electronics housing firmly attached to it.
!
The arrow on the side of the volume measuring section must be in accordance with
the flow direction. Otherwise, the meter is not started.
The meter normally neither needs a straight inlet nor a straight outlet pipe run.
Only install the heat meter in the section for which it is constructed
- the outlet variant in the low temperature section (outlet) and
- the inlet variant in the high temperature section (inlet) (see name plate)
