For your safety.
Read all safety warnings and all
WARNING
instructions. Failure to follow the
safety warnings and instructions may result in serious
injury from falling down loads.
Save all safety warnings and instructions for future ref-
erence.
Do not use this balancer before you have thor-
oughly read and completely understood this
Instruction Manual and the enclosed "General Safety
Instructions" (document number 3 41 30 054 06 1). The
documents mentioned should be kept for later use and
enclosed with the balancer, should it be passed on or
sold.
Please also observe the relevant national industrial safety
regulations.
Intended use of the balancer:
for commercial use, as weight-compensating, adjustable
suspension device for suitable work equipment in
weather-protected environments.
Special safety instructions.
Ensure sufficient stability and sturdiness of the suspen-
sion mounting (ceiling, dowels, bolts, hooks ...). Always
use the securing cable as a second, independent fasten-
ing point for protection against falling down. A falling
down balancer with load can lead to serious injuries.
Use and monitor the wire cables and the forged load
hooks in accordance with the relevant regulations. Adjust
the balancer in such a manner that it moves slowly in the
end position with the weight attached. When the bal-
ancer still pulls too strongly in the end position, the wire
cable can become damaged.

In case of a blockage, first determine the cause before
correcting the blockage. Malfunctions that are not cor-
rected properly can cause the load to fall down.
Do not open the balancer. The spring is under pre-ten-
sion. The pre-tensioned spring poses a hazard.
Do not use accessories that have not been especially
designed or released by the device manufacturer. Safe
operation is not ensured only because an accessory fits
your balancer.
Operating Instructions.
Always use the securing cable for protection
against falling down. The path of fall in case of
breakage may not exceed 100 mm (max.). Tighten the
nuts of the wire-cable clamps with a tightening torque of
4 Nm.
Carry out the suspension in such a manner that it can be
adjusted in the pull direction of the wire cable.
When suspending welding guns, use an electrically insu-
lated swivel hook.
