• Stop the charging process.
• Before changing out the mains-end adapter,
always first unplug the mains adapter from the
power socket and the vehicle-end connector
from the vehicle.
• Always change out the mains adapters in a dry
place.
The adapters are connected and disconnected
via the JUICE CONNECTOR safety connection:

1. JUICE CONNECTOR safety connector. (Con-
nects to the JUICE BOOSTER 2)
2. Plug and press together until an audible click
is heard. Important: Ensure that you hear and
feel the connection snap into place!
Mechanical guides only allow connection in the
correct position (orange dots provide orienta-
tion for correct alignment).
3. Disconnect the connectors by pulling back the
retaining ring on the JUICE CONNECTOR safety
coupling. This safety coupling is part of the
mains adapter.
4. Protective end caps (always fit the caps in place
when the device is not in use, as they protect
against ingress of dust, moisture and other
harmful substances). The JUICE CONNECTOR
is only watertight when fully plugged in.
Charging from domestic or indus-
trial power outlets
1. Select the fitting mains adaptor.
2. Connect the JUICE CONNECTOR of the JUICE
BOOSTER 2 to the JUICE CONNECTOR of the
mains adapter, as described above.
3. Plug the mains connector into the power
source socket.

All the LEDs flash yellow while the
BOOSTER 2 performs its self-test.
4. The device is ready for operation within approx.
3 seconds.
The detected charging current intensity
(AMPERE) is displayed in green.
The set operating mode (MODE) is
displayed for 30 seconds by flashing
yellow LED.
If the ampere charge value and the
operating mode are in the same position,
the LEDs flash yellow and green alter-
nately.
5. Check, if the charge current intensity is correct.
Note: The charge intensity can be reduced
within the first 30 seconds after connecting
the BOOSTER 2 to the vehicle by pressing the
SELECT button.
6. Plug the vehicle-end coupling into the vehicle's
charging connection socket.
7. The charging process begins automatically.
The sequential flashing orange LEDs
indicate that charging is in progress.
A green LED continues to display the set
charge intensity.
8. The charge process ends.
If only the green LED displaying the
charge intensity is lit, the vehicle has
properly ended the charge process.
If charging at first fails to start automatically, it's
possible that a setting in the vehicle has sched-
uled charging for a certain specific time of day.
Changing the charge intensity
(AMPERE)
• Press the SELECT button (before plugging the
vehicle-end connector into the vehicle charging
socket, or within 30 seconds after plugging it in).
The green LED begins to flash, indicat-
ing that the device is ready to change
the charge intensity.
• Press the SELECT button as many times as
necessary until the LED is at the desired am-
perage.
• Pressing the button again after position 6 am-
peres causes the LED to jump back to the maxi-
mum value defined by the given adapter in use.
