Switching ELS 750 & ELS 1000/ELS with eDrive on & off
The kiln is switched on and off using the main switch. The main switch is located on the left side on the front of the
switch box on the kiln.

Set the main switch to the
"I/ON" position.

The firing operation is started and stopped by the control unit.

It is essential that you first read the relevant instruction manual for the control system carefully!

Emergency-Stop switch
8.5.1.
Emergency-Stop for ELS 150-ELS 480 without eDrive
ELS 150-ELS 480 without eDrive must be switched off with the appropriate mains circuit breaker to shut down in an
emergency (Emergency-Stop).

When the mains circuit breaker is tripped, the entire kiln is de-energised.
⇒
To reset the "Emergency-Stop" function, the mains circuit breaker must be reset again. The kiln is switched on
again and fully supplied with power at the same time.
8.5.2.
Emergency-Stop for ELS 750 & ELS 1000/ELS with eDrive
The main switch also serves as a guard with the "Emergency-Stop" function.

When the "Emergency-Stop" function is activated, the entire kiln is de-energised.
⇒
To trigger the "Emergency-Stop" function, the main switch must be set to "0/OFF".
⇒
To reset the "Emergency-Stop" function, the main switch must be set to "I/ON". The kiln is switched on again
and fully supplied with power at the same time.
Set the main switch to the
"0/OFF" position.
