Cleaning

– Use a mild spray cleaner or a mix-
ture of water and mild detergent to
clean the plastic parts.
– Clean the awning fabric only when
needed.
– Use soapy water to clean the awn-
ing fabric (2). Test first on an unin-
teresting location.
– Allow the awning fabric (2) to dry
completely before retracting the
awning. Do not use a heater (hair-
dryer, etc.) to dry the awning.

Storage

Dismantle the awning and store it in a
dry place if you are not going to use the
awning for an extended period of time
(see ► Dismantling the awning –
p. 135). How to extend the service life
of your awning.
– Make sure that the awning fabric
(2) is completely dry. A wet awning
fabric (2) can cause mould.
– Make sure that the awning is com-
pletely retracted.
– Secure the folding arms (6) against
unintentional extension by using a
safety strap.
– Store the awning in a dry place, out
of the reach of children.
