Put on the washers and then the
brackets (1) after inserting the
masonry screws.
Now put the sealing rings on the
screw heads and tighten the nuts
with a hexagon wrench.
Note: If necessary, hit the
masonry screws with a mallet.
Do not use a metal hammer
since this could damage the
thread of the masonry screws.
Tighten the masonry screws with a
17 mm hexagon wrench. Use a
hexagon wrench with the end
closed. Make sure that the brack-
ets (1) are firmly seated in the wall
as soon as the masonry screws are
completely screwed in.
Tighten the masonry screws again
if the brackets (1) can still be
moved. Do not attempt to secure
the brackets (1) to loose bricks or
surfaces that are not completely
secure.
Make sure that the brackets (1) are
firmly bolted to the wall.

Installing the awning

Attach the awning to the brackets
(1) (► p. 5, fig. E).
Each person should have their own
platform ladder when installing the
awning. Make sure the ladders are
positioned securely. Otherwise,
injuries can result. Only use lad-
ders that are suitable for such
installation work.
Note: Loosen the masonry
screws in case the support tube
(9) cannot be inserted into the
brackets (1).
Move the awning slightly forward
and backward until the support
tube (9) slides into the hooks.
Then immediately insert the lock-
ing screw (14) on the front of the
bracket (1) and tighten the lock
nuts (15) with a 19 mm hexagon
wrench.
Make sure the locking screws (14)
are tight.
Note: Make sure that the
brackets (1) are installed at a
distance of 6 cm from the fold-
ing arm attachment for the
extended sliding elements (13)
(► p. 5, fig. F).

Tensioning the fabric cover

Remove the protective straps from
the awning. Open the awning until
the folding arms (6) are maximally
extended. To do this, hook the
crank (5) into the first gear lug (11)
and turn it clockwise.
Retract the awning slightly to ten-
sion the fabric cover. To do this,
turn the crank (5) counter clock-
wise (► p. 5, fig. G).

Adjusting the slope angle

CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Always work together with
another person. Failure to do so
may cause personal injury and/
or damage to the product.
The awning is already delivered
with optimally adjusted slope
angle. The shield angle of the awn-
ing can be set anywhere within a
range of 5-35°.
