Accelerating the cooling process
This cooling process takes a few minutes. If
you want to quickly prepare another espres-
so, you can speed up the cooling process by
drawing hot water from the device:
1. While the three LEDs 23, 26, 27 are
flashing, turn the dial 5 in the direction
of the symbol
2. Press the espresso button

The espresso machine and the power
cable with mains plug 7 must not be im-
mersed in water or other liquids.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
burning!
Many components and accessories of
the espresso machine become very hot
during operation. Allow them to cool
down before cleaning.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
NOTES:

The following accessories can be
cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand:
- the coffee spoon with tamper 9
- the filters 1/2
- the spout of the steam nozzle 8
- the drip grid 14
- the drip tray 12

The following accessories can be
washed by hand with mild detergent:
- the water tank 3
- the portafilter 19
•
If the accessories that come into contact
with water, espresso or milk have resi-
dues of detergent, the taste of the es-
presso will be negatively affected.
Therefore, rinse these parts thoroughly
with clean water if cleaning with deter-
gent is necessary.
