12. Install Handles - K-1099
Remove and discard the plaster guard, if installed.
Rotate the valve stem fully counterclockwise.
Position the handle stem over the valve stem with the eyelets
vertical, and secure with a screw.
Slide the skirt (with O-ring installed) over the handle stem and
onto the shoulder of the valve. Secure with a setscrew.
Slide the escutcheon assembly over the skirt, and secure with
long screws.
Install the O-ring into the plug.
Position the handle over the stem eyelets, and secure by
threading the plug into the handle.
Press the plug button firmly in place.
For the 74781 handle, install the O-ring, ring, and endpiece on the
opposite end of the handle.
