CAUTION: BEFORE USING THE TOOL READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY
AND KEEP IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
All warnings within this manual apply to working with the bench drill,
its maintenance and operation.
User must be familiar with the tool functions and specification, and
familiarize with all safety elements, applicable regulations, must read
and understand this manual.
• All modifications of the bench drill that change its parameters or
facilitate operation are forbidden. They might constitute risk for
human health and life.
• Connect the plug of the power cord only to mains socket with
protective pin that is connected to electrical circuit with residual
current protection IΔn < 30mA or IΔn = 30mA.
• Check all protections before starting to work (when the tool is stopped)
and after any operation or maintenance action, or after a repair.
• Use the bench drill only when all protections work properly.
• Stop the bench drill immediately when any of the protective parts
is damaged or when protection does not work properly due to any
reason. When a protection is damaged, use the bench drill only
when the problem is resolved.
• Only certified persons can repair the tool in case of faults.
• Disconnect the bench drill from power supply when performing
adjustment or maintenance tasks.
• Use a vice attached to the work table or base of the bench drill to fix
the processed (drilled) object.
• When operating the bench drill, it is required to use personal safety
equipment, such as protective helmet, goggles or anti-splinter
glasses or face shield, protective shoes with steel toe caps and
earmuff protectors.
• Do not operate the bench drill in gloves. It may lead to serious body
injury when the drill catches glove.
• Ensure the bench drill is not a threat to anybody before switching it on.
• WARNING. Persons near operating bench drill must wear protective
clothing.
• Bench drill should not be used by children or untrained personnel.
• To maintain safety, use only original spare parts for all repairs.
• When extension cord is used, it must have protection circuit wire.
• WARNING. Inappropriate power cord extension may be dangerous.
• The bench drill is designed for household use. It can be used
indoors only.
CAUTION! This device is designed to operate indoors.
The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and
additional safety systems are used, nevertheless there is always
a small risk of operational injuries.
CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Bench drill is a 1 protection class device designed for drilling holes
in objects made of metal or other materials that are not dangerous
to health and are not flammable. It is absolutely necessary to plug
the power cable only to mains socket with protective pin that is
connected to electrical circuit with residual current protection IΔn <
30mA or IΔn = 30mA. Full range of spindle rotational speed is covered
by 5-step adjustment of the V belt position on belt pulleys. Range of
use covers metal works and any work from the range of individual,
amateur activities (tinkering).
Use the bench drill according to its purpose only.
