5. Reversed Inlet Supplies
WARNING: Risk of Scalding. DO NOT disassemble the
cartridge. Removing the retaining clip may result in the
maximum temperature setting being altered, resulting in a
risk of scalding.
The inlet connections are indicated on the inlet ports of the
thermostatic valve assembly. Left is HOT and right is COLD. If this
configuration is not suitable for your installation, the cartridge may
be rotated 180° to reverse the hot and cold inlet ports.
IMPORTANT! The hot side of the cartridge must be aligned with
the hot inlet pipe.
With the valve already installed and pressurized:
Turn both integral supply stops until they contact the stop bracket
using a 10 mm hex wrench or 3/8" square drive.
Turn the volume control valve stem (not shown) fully
counterclockwise to release the pressure.
