This kit is provided for installing a new gimbal housing assembly and hose onto an existing SX transom shield.

NOTICE! For detailed instructions pertaining to removal and installation of gimbal housing assembly, please refer
to applicable workshop manual.
1. First, remove bolts 4 from fitting 3.
2. Remove fitting and hose assembly from existing installation.
3. When installing new hose 2, first install hose into fitting. Ensure that it is properly seated.
4. Install fitting onto gimbal housing assembly. If line on hose (shown in gray in enlargement) can be seen, hose
is not seated deeply enough. For torque specifications, see workshop manual.
