Danger!
Danger to life due to electric shock.
Do not direct the water jet
– at electrical appliances and systems,
– at the unit itself.
– All components that carry electrical
current, and are within the immediate
vicinity of where work takes place,
must be splash-proof.
Injury hazard.
Chemical burn hazard due to use of
detergents.
Scalding hazard due to presence of hot
water.
Do not direct the water jet at persons or
animals.
Burn hazard due to hot system components.
When in hot-water mode, do not touch
uninsulated pipes and hoses. Hold the spray
lance only by the moulded grips.
The water jet discharged through the spray
lance produces a recoil effect. In addition,
because of its angled shape, the spray lance
is forced upwards by the water jet.
!
Danger!
Injury hazard due to recoil.
The recoil could cause you to lose your
balance, and you could fall down. The spray
lance could whip round, and injure someone.
Ensure a firm foothold, and keep a tight grip
on the hand gun. Never wedge the hand gun
lever fast.

B. Operating Data
!
Injury hazard due to flying debris.
Flying debris or other objects could cause
injuries to persons or animals. Never direct
the water jet at fragile or loose objects.
Hazard arising from materials that endanger
health.
Do not spray the following materials as
particles of health-endangering substances
could be swirled up:
– materials containing asbestos,
– materials that could possibly contain
health-endangering substances.
Accident hazard resulting from damaged
objects.
Clean tyres and valves from a minimum
distance of 30 cm.
!
Danger!
Injury hazard due to powerful water jet
(may be hot).
Only original Kärcher high-pressure hoses
are perfectly matched to this system. No
liability is accepted for the use of other hoses.
Health hazard due to use of detergents or
liquid softener.
If detergents or liquid softener are used with
the unit, the discharged water is no longer of
drinking-water quality.
Damage to hearing when working on objects
that give rise to increased noise levels.
The sound level generated by the system
itself is harmless. However if objects are
being sprayed that amplify the noise level,
then this constitutes a hazard. In this case,
a protective device must be worn over the
ears.
