Screw on modified perforated strip (1) using
hexagon head screw with washer (2) M6x20 mm.

Insert parking heater (1), pushing the exhaust
pipe through the rubber grommet.
Screw parking heater (1) to the bracket using
the enclosed special self-tapping screws (2).
Put on contacts of the park heating wiring harness
in the following way:
Branch cable G1 2-contact, black:
Pin 1
red cable (terminal 30)
Pin 2
brown cable (terminal 31)
Branch cable G2 6-contact, black:
Pin 1
black cable (time switch)
Pin 2
yellow cable (diagnostic)

blue cable (metering pump
Connect branch cables G1 and G2 (3) to parking
heater.
Connect antenna connection (4) to the cable of
the Telestart receiver (5).

Test the length of the exhaust pipe (1) by holding
it against the muffler (3), if necessary shorten the
exhaust pipe (1) with a metal-cutting saw.
Screw exhaust pipe (1) to muffler (3) with pipe
clamp (2).
Screw muffler (3) to the perforated strip with
hexagon head screw and washer (4) M6x20 mm
and hexagon nut M6 and washer.

Make a cut-out in bumper panelling (2) in the area
shown (1) with step drill or keyhole saw Ø 40 mm.

Clip in rubber grommet (1).
Insert exhaust pipe (3) and determine required
length, if necessary shortening exhaust pipe with
a metal-cutting saw. The exhaust pipe (3) should
stick out of the bumper bottom covering (2) by
approx. 10 mm.

Adjust exhaust pipe (1) and attach to muffler (2)
with hose clamp (3).

Provide intake air hose (1) with black end cap (3)
and attach to parking heater (2) with a hose clamp.
Attach intake air hose (1) with cable ties.
9. Install fuel line and metering
pump

Dismantle coverings (1) of the tank armatures
under the rear seat bench on right and left

Push fuel flexible pipe (1) of the right tank armature
under the rear seat pan towards the left and lay it
under the vehicle floor.
Cut off cap above at connection piece (2) using
trimming knife.
It is essential to take note of Chapter 2,
Fluid-level sensor.

Free the seal area (1) to the connection piece (2)
of dust and dirt.

Put the tank extractor (1) on the connection piece (2)
and twist it by 90 degrees (bayonet union).
Connect fuel flexible pipe (3) to the tank extractor (1)
by means of coupling piece (4) and hose clamps (5).

Suspend the fuel flexible pipe (1) as shown in the
cable supports (2), lay it towards the front and fix
it in place with cable ties (3). Cut off fuel flexible
pipe (1) at the height of the gearbox (centre) with
a trimming knife.

Install fuel flexible pipe (1) from installation location
of the parking heater together with branch
cables I1 and I2 (2) (connection metering pump)
along the brake lines on the left side of the vehicle
and from there along the vehicle fuel line. Attach
fuel flexible pipe (1) and branch cables I1 and I2 (2)
with cable ties (3).

It is essential to take note of the arrow on the
metering pump for the flow direction.
Provide metering pump (6) with rubberised hose
clamp (5), put it on the longitudinal carrier and mark
drillhole, centre punch and drill hole Ø 9.1 mm
Insert blind-rivet nut M6 and rivet it in with
blind-rivet nut pincers.
Shorten fuel flexible pipes (1 and 2) to required
length, put fuel hoses (3) on them and connect
them to the metering pump (6) with hose clamps (4).
Slide rubber grommets over branch cables I1 and I2.
Insert contacts in 2-contact housing and put on
metering pump (6).
