timer
This appliance is equipped with a digital timer.
The timer indicates the end of the frying time, but does NOT switch off the fryer.

Press the + or - button on the control panel once. The timer automatically sets a frying time
of 10 minutes. Then press the + or - button to set the correct frying time in minutes. (Fig. 11)
The maximum time that can be set is 99 minutes.
Keep the button pressed to put the minutes forward quickly. Release the button once the
,
required frying time has been reached.

Press the on/off button briefly to activate the timer (Fig. 8).
The timer starts to count down.

While the timer counts down, the remaining frying time in minutes and seconds flashes on
,
the display.

If you want to change the set time after you have activated the timer, press the on/off button
briefly to pause the timer. Press the + or - button to set the correct frying time. Then press
the on/off button briefly to activate the timer again.

When the preset time has elapsed, you hear an audible signal for 30 seconds. To stop the
audible signal, briefly press any button.

Beware of hot steam and possible spattering of oil.

Take the lid off the fryer.

Carefully remove the basket from the fryer (Fig. 12).
To remove excess oil or fat, shake the basket over the fryer or put the basket in the draining
position by placing it in the bracket on the inside of the inner bowl.

Put the fried food in a bowl or colander lined with grease-absorbing paper, e.g. kitchen paper.

If you want to fry another batch, wait until the thermometer symbol on the display turns
black again.

If you want to stop frying, press the on/off button for 2-3 seconds to switch off the
fryer (Fig. 8).

Put the basket in the fryer.

Close the lid.

Unplug the appliance after use.
Note: If you do not use the fryer regularly, remove the oil or liquid fat. Store the oil or liquid fat in well-
closed containers, preferably in the refrigerator or in a cool place.
