2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
2.2 • SUPPLY TERMS
Pumps can be supplied as follows (fig.15):
– pump.
– vertical pump with flanged electric motor (for HV,HVM series).
– pump and motor (electric or diesel motor) mounted on common
baseframe in steel, coupled with coupling joint with coupling guard.
(HP, HPM, HPR series)
ATTENTION!
For each pump series, abbreviations, components and performance range
(diagram capacity/head) please look it up in General Catalogue.
The main technical characteristics of the pump and motor are mentioned on the
identification label fixed on the pump and motor (see chapter 1.1 "IDENTIFICATION")
Special applications on request. Please look it up in the technical specifications.

ATTENTION! Pump not suitable for pumping:
– fluids containing abrasives.
– fluids containing solid and fibrous substances.
– inflammable and explosive fluids (only for special execution).
– chemically aggressive fluids (only for special execution).
The pump usage with salt water must be specified on order.
Max working time with closed port: 2 Minutes.
Pumps coupled with motors are fitted to installation in covered place
thanks to
IP55 motor protection.
For special or hazardous applications, please ask the Technical Dept. to
provide with necessary information.
2.3 • NOISE LEVEL
Centrifugal pumps have different noise levels depending on their kind
of application and on the kind of motor.
ATTENTION!
The noise level of the electric pumps varies depending on the installation:
it is therefore necessary to carry out a noise test after the complete plant
installation in conformity with the normes in force in the country.
