continuous flow rate. The light sensor is connected to the left side at the controller. To use the night

light source as this may damage the sensor. During daytime, the pump switches back to the set
program.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
From time to time, the pump needs to be cleaned. First of all, remove the pump assembly from the
holder (6). Then, remove the rubber gaskets (Fig. 1, No. 4). Twist the filter basket (1) and remove
it from the pump housing (3). (Hold the pump assembly with your left hand. With your right hand,
twist the filter basket counterclockwise to unlock it from the pump housing). The filter basket can be
locked in various positions. Ideally, the cable should point vertically upwards.
After removal of the basket, the entire impeller unit can be pulled out. All components can be cleaned
under running water and be re-assembled again. During assembly, make sure the ceramic shaft fits
properly into the filter basket's socket.
6. Failures
The pump is designed to operate over a long period of time with little or no maintenance. If the pump
gets noisy, the filter basked and impeller need to be cleaned.
