INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Read all the safety indications
and instructions. Failure to adhere to the safe-
ty indigcations and instructions may cause an
electric shock, burns and/or serious injuries.
Keep all safety indications and instructions for
future use.
RISK OF DEATH OR INJURY FOR TOD-
DLERS AND CHILDREN!
• Never leave children unsupervised with the
packaging. Danger of asphyxiation.
• This device is not designed for use by people
(including children) whose physical, senso-
rial or mental capacities are impaired or by
people with no experience or knowledge, un-
less they are supervised by a person respon-
sible for their safety or given instructions on
how to use this device. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the device.
• No liquid, of any kind whatsoever, should
penetrate inside the device. If this is the
case, there is a risk of death by electric
shock and risk of material damage.
• Do not allow children have access to the
device and keep it out of their reach. Small
parts can be swallowed by children and re-
sult in death by asphyxiation. Children can
be injured when using the device.
• Keep children away from the device. Chil-
dren do not understand or recognise the
potential dangers associated with the use of
electrical appliances.
ATTENTION! RISK OF DEATH AND INJURY
AND RISK OF MATERIAL DAMAGE.
• Block the vehicle before any test with the
OBD II diagnostic device, so that it cannot
move. Always pull the handbrake/parking
brake and make sure that no gears are en-
gaged during the test. With an automatic
transmission, select the "parking position" (P)
and pull the handbrake/parking brake.
• Attention, presence of high voltage in the
area of the ignition coils, distributor cap, ig-
nition cable, spark plugs and various other
electrical components of the vehicle.
• Adhere to the safety regulations if the vehicle
is supported by a jack, a car lift or a support
of the same type.
• Check that the vehicle can be diagnosed.
Only connect the diagnostic device to the
vehicle when the ignition is switched off.
• Make sure that the device and connector
are dry and free from any moisture. Never
connect the device to the vehicle with wet
hands.
• Make sure the equipment is always stored in
a safe place. Do not expose the device to oil,
grease, solvents, moisture, rain or other hu-
mid environmental conditions. Do not allow
water or other liquids to reach the device.
Water would cause a short circuit and could
damage the device and the vehicle.
• Do not use solvents or alcohol to clean the
device. Do not soak. Simply use a cotton
cloth, slightly moistened with a mild deter-
gent if necessary, then dry with a dry cloth.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
• Do not lay the connection cable in such a
way that you can trip or the sheath gets dam-
aged.
• Do not use the cable to carry or suspend
the device. Always disconnect the device by
pulling on the plug and never on the cable.
• Only use the device if it is not damaged.
• Do not use the device if it has fallen or been
damaged in any way.
• The device may not be disassem-
bled, repaired or modifi ed by yourself.
All repairs to the equipment must be per-
formed by a qualifi ed electrician. There are
no exchangeable parts inside the device.
• When positioning the device, make sure that
it is in a stable position. Lay the connection
cable so that it does not interfere with the
vehicle inspection. Do not run the cable over

• No deje nunca a los niños con el material de
embalaje sin supervisión. Existe un riesgo de
asfi xia.
• Este aparato no ha sido diseñado para ser
utilizado por parte de personas (incluyendo
niños) cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales
o psíquicas sean limitadas, o que tengan falta
de experiencia y/o falta de conocimientos, a
menos de estar supervisadas por una perso-
na responsable de su seguridad o de recibir
instrucciones sobre la utilización del aparato.
Será conveniente vigilar a los niños para ase-
gurarse de que no juegan con el aparato.
• Ningún líquido, sea cual sea su naturaleza,
deberá penetrar en el aparato. De lo contrario,
existe un peligro de muerte por descarga eléc-
trica y un riesgo de daños materiales.
• No deje a los niños acceder al aparato y man-
téngalo fuera de su alcance. Los niños podrían
tragarse las piezas pequeñas y correr el riesgo
de asfi xiarse. Los niños pueden resultar heri-
dos durante la utilización del aparato.

Los niños no entienden ni reconocen los peli-

aparatos eléctricos.
¡ATENCIÓN! PELIGRO DE MUERTE Y DE LE-

• Inmovilice el vehículo antes de cualquier exa-
men con el aparato de diagnóstico OBD II, de
forma que no pueda desplazarse. Tire siempre
del freno de mano / freno de estacionamien-
to y asegúrese de que, durante el examen,
no haya ninguna marcha metida. En el caso
de una transmisión automática, seleccione la
«posición de estacionamiento» (P) y tire del
freno de mano / freno de estacionamiento.
• Atención, presencia de alta tensión en la zona
de las bobinas de encendido, el cabezal del
distribuidor, el cable de encendido, las bujías
de encendido y de diversos otros componen-
tes eléctricos del vehículo.
• Respete las instrucciones de seguridad si
el vehículo está apoyado sobre un gato, un
puente elevador o algún soporte de ese tipo.
• Compruebe si el vehículo puede ser diagnos-
ticado. Conecte el aparato de diagnóstico al
vehículo únicamente con el contacto apagado.
• Asegúrese de que el aparato y el conector es-
tén secos y desprovistos de toda humedad.
Nunca conecte el aparato al vehículo con las
manos mojadas.
• Asegúrese de que el equipo esté siempre
guardado en un lugar seguro. No exponga
el aparato a aceites, grasas, disolventes, a
la humedad, la lluvia ni a otras condiciones
medioambientales húmedas. Evite que el agua
u otros líquidos lleguen al aparato. El agua
provocaría un cortocircuito y podría dañar el
aparato y el vehículo.
• Para limpiar el aparato, no utilice disolventes
ni alcohol. No lo empape. Utilice simplemente
un paño de algodón, ligeramente humedecido
con un detergente suave si es necesario, y sé-
quelo con ayuda de un trapo seco.
• No exponga el aparato directamente a la ra-
diación solar.
• No disponga el cable de conexión de forma
que pueda tropezar con él o que se deteriore
la funda.
• No utilice el cable para desplazar o colgar el
aparato. Desconecte siempre el aparato tiran-
do del enchufe, nunca del cable.
• Utilice el aparato únicamente si no presenta
ningún daño.
• No utilice el aparato si se ha caído o si ha sido
dañado, sea de la manera que sea.
• El aparato no podrá ser desmontado, reparado
ni modifi cado por sus propios medios. Todas
las reparaciones en el equipo deberán ser rea-
lizadas por un electricista cualifi cado. No hay
ninguna pieza de recambio dentro del aparato.
• Al colocar el aparato, asegúrese de que esté
en una posición estable. Disponga el cable de
conexión de forma que no le estorbe para con-
trolar el vehículo. No pase el cable por aristas
