RUNNING BELT ADJUSTMENT

The treadmill tarpaulin is pre-adjusted at the factory, but each user tends to force the
tarpaulin to one side during exercise with either the right or left foot. To adjust it
correctly, follow the steps below:
ADJUSTING RUNNING BELT TENSION:
If the tarpaulin is "sliding" or wobbling when you put your
foot in it while running, the tension on the tarpaulin needs
TOOLS
to be increased.
TO INCREASE THE TENSION OF THE RACE RUNNING BELT:
1. Place the 8 mm wrench on the left screw of the tarpaulin
tensioner. Turn the key 1/4 turn clockwise to press the rear
roller and increase the tension of the tarpaulin.

2.Repeat STEP 1 for the proper tension of the right tarpaulin
screw. You must be sure to turn both screws the same
number of turns, so that the rear roller is adjusted in relation
to the frame.
3.Repeat STEP 1 and STEP 2 until the slip is eliminated.
4. Be careful not to tension the tarpaulin, which may create
excessive pressure on the front and rear roller bearings. A
running tarpaulin too much would result in rolling noise

to increase
To decrease the tension on the RUNNING BELT, turn the two

tension
screws counterclockwise the same number of turns,
centering the running RUNNING BELT.
When you run, you can push harder with one foot than with
the other. The amount of movement of the RUNNING BELT
depends on the force that one foot exerts in relation to the
other. This movement can cause the RUNNING BELT to move
out of the center. This push is normal and the belt will be
centered when no user is using the belt. If the running belt
remains off-center, you will need to center the running belt

to decrease
1. Make sure the running belt is facing the right or left side

tension
of the platform.
2. If you are to the left side of the platform, using the
wrench, turn the left adjustment screw clockwise 1/4 turn
and the right adjustment screw counterclockwise 1/4 turn.
3. If the RUNNING BELT is not yet in the center, repeat the
STEP above until the RUNNING BELT is in the center.
4. After the tarp is in the center, increase the speed to
16kmph and check that it is running smoothly. Repeat the
steps above if necessary.
If the above procedure is not successful in resolving the off-
center, it may be necessary to increase the tension of the
tarp.
