Troubleshooting
− When preparing fatty foods,
grease drips into the fryer pan
7
. The grease makes the fryer
pan hotter than usual – this has
no negative effect on either the
appliance or the cooking results.
− Grease residue burns in the fryer
6
chamber
after each use.
− Soak the cut potatoes in cold
water for approx. 1/2 hour so
that the starch can leach out. Dry
them off with paper towel before
putting them in the fryer.
− The crunchiness depends on
the water and starch content of
the potato variety and on the
quantity of oil.
− Dry off the potatoes carefully and
then cover them with approx. 1/2
teaspoon of oil.
− Cut the potatoes into smaller
pieces.
