INSTRUCTIONS COULD COMPROMISE THE CORRECT WORKING ORDER OF THE SySTEM.
• These instructions are aimed at professionally qualified
"INSTALLERS OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT" and must
respect the local standards and regulations in force. All mate-
rials used must be approved and must suit the environment
in which the installation is situated.
• All maintenance operations must be carried out by profession-

at the mains.
• This appliance must be used exclusively for the purpose for
which it has been made. "i.e. for the automation of wasistas
protruding or casement windows".
• Generally speaking the capacity to manoeuvre a set of window
frames is considered to be up to 6 for the VLD030. These
specifics are referred to 80 x 50 cm window frames made
of structural metal with a 3 to 5 mm thick pane, a maximum
opening distance of 40 cm, correctly installed with the geared
motor installed centrally (see installation example) between
the array of windows.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The minimum controls which may be installed are OPEN-
STOP-CLOSE, these controls must be installed in a location
not accessible to children.
Before starting with the installation of the system check that
the structure which is to be automated is in good working order
and respects the local standards and regulations in force.
To this end make sure that the gate is sufficiently rigid (if neces-
sary reinforce the structure) and that the hinges turn easily.
You are advised to grease all the moving parts using lubricants
which maintain unaltered friction characteristics over a period
of time and are suitable for temperatures of -20 to +70°C.
• Check the safety measures between the fixed and moving
parts:
• Check the exact positioning of the pivots and hinges, and
their good working order (grease if necessary).
• Work out the run of the cables according to the command and
control devices fitted and make sure the system conforms to
the local standard and regulations in force (see installation
example fig.1 pag. 2).
• Check that the appliance is suitable for the size, weight and
duty cycle of the gate to which it is to be applied (see duty
cycle on page 16)
FITTING THE UNIT
• For the transmission shaft (not sup-
plied ) prepare a Ø1" (33 mm) length
of pipe that is long enough to cover
the entire length of the casements that
are to be automated:
- to command from one to three
windows in series the motor can be
installed either to the left or to the
right and only a single piece of piping
"B";
- to command more than three
windows in series you are advised
to install the motor centrally. In this
case to pipes of equal length will be
required;
- depending on the type of instal-
lation (protruding windows fig. 2) or
Wasistas windows fig. 3) fasten the
shaft supports "A" along the line of
casements, cut the pipe or pipes "B"
to the right size and insert them.
- position the rack "C" centrally,
one for each window. Attach the end
of the rack "D" to each individual
window and fasten them loosely
(without tightening the screws.
