Safety instructions for the installation

Danger!
Danger to life from electric current!
Touching live connections may cause seri-
ous personal injuries.
> Switch off the power supply. Secure the
power supply against reactivation.
Attention!
Property damage through wrong
electrical connection!
The water management server is supplied
via the eSCHELL Bus power supply with
30 V direct current.
> Connect only the eSCHELL power supply
for the electrical supply to the water
management server!
Personnel requirements

Assembly and installation must be carried out by
knowledgeable installers according to the require-
ments on qualification as per national and local
regulations.
See DIN EN 806 ff "Technical rules for drinking
water installations", DIN 1988 ff.
The "generally recognised rules of technology"
must be followed, both when installing the drink-
ing water installation as well as installation and
programming of the water management system.
When planning and setting up sanitary facilities, ob-
serve the corresponding local, national and interna-
tional standards and regulations.

Electrical protection zones in the bath

In rooms with shower and/or bathtub, the electri-
cal installation must be installed so that any hazard
due to electrical currents is ruled out.
Electrical installation must be carried out by knowl-
edgeable installers according to the requirements on
qualification as per national and local regulations.
Compare the following standards and regulations:
– DIN EN 60335-1 VDE 0700-1 "Safety of house-
hold and similar electrical appliances"
– DIN VDE 0100 "Regulations for the erection of
power installations with rated voltages up to
1000 V" or IEC 60364 or CENELEC HD 384 or
IEC 60664 or DIN VDE 0110.
Observe the safety ranges in rooms with bath tubs
or showers!
Comply with stipulations regarding technical con-
nection from the relevant electricity and water
utility companies!
Observe the national and international accident
prevention regulations.
