DISCHARGE DOOR- Adjusting and restoring discharge door seal
If the discharge door seal is faulty, check the wear of the rubber gasket (part. 34 TABLE 11) and replace it if
needed.
The hydraulic cylinder (TABLE 14) automatically compensates for increased travel due to wear of the rubber
gasket. Should adhesion of concrete to the rubber gasket be causing a defective seal to the point that the concrete
mix leaks out, it is recommended to increase the cutting angle of the discharge door at the pan bottom. This will
reduce contact surface with the rubber and improve closure of the discharge door.
If the discharge door does not have an eccentric device and rubber gasket, check the condition of the 2 discharge
door shaft bearings (part. 10 - 10A TABLE 11). If the discharge door shaft bearings are in good condition and the
shaft is rigid, bring the section of the discharge door subject to wear back to level (part. 1.x TABLE 5) with all the
wear plates (part. 2.x TABLE 5) corresponding to the pan bottom, applying spacer plates in correspondence to the
fixing screws (part. 9 TABLE 6). It is recommended to verify the plates are correctly levelled with both the side and
bottom of the pan, taking into account that the tolerance between the blades (mixer and peripheral) and the relative
plates is between 3 and 5 mm. This is to avoid serious damage to the blades.
