Product Description
The Expert Torque Analyzer (EXTA) & Expert Torque Tester (EXTT) are used for calibration or data collection of power & hand-operated tools. The
EXTA & EXTT can also be used for joint development and as a failure analysis instrument.

Work area

products can create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
For units requiring torque reaction, install this product to a structure capable of safely supporting its total weight and torque

reaction. Failure to follow installation instructions properly can result in structure collapse and personal injury.
Electrical Safety

Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of
electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
This product is for Indoor Use Only. Do not expose this product to rain or wet conditions. Water entering this product will increase the

risk of electric shock.

Do not abuse the cord or cable. Never use the cord to pull the plug from an outlet. Keep cord and cable away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Replace damaged cords and cables immediately. Damaged cords and cables increase the risk of electric shock.
A battery powered product with integral batteries or a separate battery pack must be recharged only with the specified charger for

the battery. A charger that may be suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery.
Always use specified supply voltage. Incorrect voltage can cause electrical shock, fire, abnormal operation and may result in personal

injury.

Be sure all electric cords & cables are the correct size & all plugs & connectors are tightly secured. Under-sized wire and loose
connections can cause electrical shock, fire and may result in personal injury.
Personal Safety
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing

protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.

Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving
parts. Loose clothes, jewellery, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating this product. Do not use this product while tired or

under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating this product may result in personal injury.

Do not modify this product, safety devices, or accessories. Unauthorized modifications may result in electric shock, fire or personal injury.

Do not use this product for purposes other than those recommended. Electric shock, fire or other personal injury may result.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.

Use clamps or other practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform. Holding the work by hand or against your

body is unstable and may lead to loss of control.
Use and Care

Use only accessories that are recommended by Ingersoll Rand for your model. Accessories that may be suitable for one tool, may become
hazardous when used on another tool.
Do not remove any labels. Replace any damaged label. Labels provide information required for safe use of the product.

Never use a damaged or malfunctioning charger. Immediately unplug charger and get it repaired or replaced. Continued use may
result in electric shock, fire or personal injury.
Service
Do not open cover or casing. There are no user serviceable items inside. Electric shock or other personal injury may result.

Service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service or maintenance performed by unqualified personnel could result
•
in a risk of injury. Consult your nearest Ingersoll Rand Authorized Servicenter.
When servicing this product, use only genuine Ingersoll Rand replacement parts and follow all Maintenance Instructions. Use of
•
unauthorized parts or failure to follow Maintenance Instructions may create a risk of electric shock or injury.
•
Do not dispose of Units in fire, incinerate or heat above 100°C (212°F). Batteries in Unit present a risk of fire or chemical burn if
mistreated.
Responsibly recycle or dispose of Units containing batteries in accordance with all applicable standards and regulations (local,
•
state, country, federal, etc.). Improper disposal may endanger the environment.
