P: Escucho el ventilador girando, pero no veo vapor. ¿Está funcionado adecuadamente
mi humidificador?
R: El aire seco es succionado a través del sistema y el ventilador dispersa aire invisible con humedad
equilibrada. No se despide "vapor". Cuando esté operando de manera normal usted sentirá sólo
aire fresco salir de la unidad. Monitoree el nivel de agua de su Tanque/Base. Si observa un
descenso en el nivel del Tanque de Agua después de 24 horas entonces su unidad está operando
de manera adecuada.
P: Mi unidad ha estado funcionando por varias horas. Escucho que el ventilador da vueltas, pero
no veo que el nivel del agua en el tanque disminuya.
R: Primero, revise el filtro para asegurarse que esté mojado. Si la almohadilla se ve seca, quítela de la
base y gentilmente enjuáguela con agua fresca. Vuelva a colocar el filtro mojado en la Base. Usted
también puede verificar el nivel de humedad actual en su hogar. Si el nivel de humedad es mayor al
60%, la unidad no expulsará mucha humedad ya que el aire ya está saturado.
P: Mi filtro se ha puesto de color marrón claro y rojizo. ¿Necesito un nuevo filtro?
R: Probablemente no. Ya que su filtro ha sido fabricado con Protec
sólo indica depósitos minerales. Sumerja el filtro en un lavabo lleno de agua fresca para ayudar
a liberar los depósitos. La decoloración puede persistir pero no afectará el funcionamiento del
humidificador.

R: If you have been using your humidifier regularly for over 30 days, follow the cleaning instructions.
P: How do I know if it's time to replace my filter?
R: A buildup of impurities and minerals on the Wicking Filter (evidenced by discoloration of the Wicking
Filter), an appreciable decrease in Humidifier output, the top of the Wicking Filter is not moist to the
touch, the Wicking Filter has large holes or tears.
P: I recently bought my humidifier and it is operating properly. The fan is running and the water
level in the tank is decreasing but the room still feels very dry.
R: If you have just started using your humidifier it will take a few days to return the normal moisture
balance to your room. Wood furniture, flooring, carpeting and other objects in the room will absorb
moisture before it can re-saturate the air. If you run this humidifier with the door open you may be
humidifying a larger area than this humidifier was intended for. Try running with the doors closed. If
your house does not have adequate insulation this could effect the amount of moisture your room is
maintaining
P: I'd like to know what my relative humidity level is in my house, how can I obtain
this information?
R: You can purchase a device such as the Vicks V70, called a hygrometer that will display the relative
humidity level in your room.
