7.4 JPEG Playback

JPEG is a common picture format that requires small amounts of storage per image and has low loss
in resolution. Hundreds of pictures can be stored on a disc in this format. In order to view JPEG
photo albums, you can ask your film development company to make a "PICTURE CD" when they
develop your film.

Normal Playback

Load a JPEG disc in. For JPEG disc, there will be a root menu displayed on the screen. Use the
ENTER button and the Left/Right direction button to select a submenu with picture, and then use the
Up/Down direction button to select the contents. For Picture CD disc, it will display the pictures
automatically.
Many discs have other contents besides pictures.
Stop
Press this button to stop playback and to create a thumbnail view. Select the image which you wish
to display in a large format using the direction and ENTER buttons. Or use the ▲▼ buttons and
ENTER to select a slide show.
Or, for menu selection, press the ◄ ► buttons and activate the remote control function using
ENTER, press ENTER to continue or to exit the menu. Then press the ▲▼ buttons to select the
previous or next option and press ENTER to move to the previous or next page

Press PLAY to resume normal playback.
Pause
During playback, press the
the PLAY button to resume playback.
Repeat
Press the REPEAT button to repeat a file or a folder. Press it repeatedly, and the repeat modes are
„Shuffle" „Random"
Shuffle: Plays back all files in the current folder multiple times in random order.
Random: Plays back all files in the current folder in random order. After that, playback ends.
Single: Plays the current file once. After that, playback ends.
Repeat One:P lays the current file repeatedly.
Repeat All: Repeatedly plays all files in the current folder in their original order.
Repeat Off: Cancel repeat
This function is only available in normal playback.
Previous and next image
During playback, press the
ODYS MultiFlat 20" DVD
PAUSE button to pause playback. Press the
„Single" „Repeat One"
or button to select picture.
PAUSE button again or
„Repeat All" „Repeat Off".
