7 DVD, CD, File Playback Operation

Preparations
1. Connect the unit to a wall socket using the supplied network cable and press the POWER button
on the control panel to turn the unit on.
2. Press the SOURCE button to change to DVD mode.
3. Handle the disc with its printed side outward vertically to the disc tray and slightly put the disc
into the disc tray (referring to the below picture).
4. The disc is automatically taken in the disc tray fully and the playback begins.
5. Press the VOL+ or VOL– buttons during playback to set the volume.
Do not play poor quality discs that may damage the player's lens.

7.1 DVD Playback

Region Code
DVD players and discs are coded by region. These regional codes must match the played discs. If
the codes don't match, the disc cannot be played. This player's default code is region 2.
Play
A disc menu normally appears on the screen after a DVD has been inserted. Press the
button to start playback.
Stop
Press this button once to stop playback and then press
■ STOP button twice to stop playback completely.
