WASTE BAG. The waste bag should be removed and replaced at least every 48 hours.
It is very important not to block the air intake of the evaporator (Fig. 27).
DOOR. It is important to keep the rubber seal and the area where this attached to the main body
clean, given that the rubber can become sticky from juice and even break when opening the door.
The lower part of the door must also be kept clean, because as this area is not visible it can easily
get dirty and attract insects.
WATER TANK. Empty the tank and replace it in its original position. Fit the water level sensor at
the mouth and the PVC elbow of the evaporator and the drainage tube in the holes (Fig. 28).
CUP DROP AND DROP GRATE. Unscrew the plastic nuts and pull backwards to remove the
grate (Fig. 29). The cup drop can be unscrewed if you want to give it a thorough cleaning (diagram
24.1, no. 16).
Make sure the cup drop is clean to ensure the cups can slide down properly.
DECORATIVE SCREEN. Wipe with a cloth soaked in a neutral soap solution (NEVER clean it
with abrasive products).
FILTER CLEANER. Wipe a cloth soaked in a neutral soap solution over the scraper (Fig. 30)
(diagram 24.1, no. 8).
FILTER TRAY AND FILTER TRAY SUPPORT. Remove the filter tray, observing its original
position, and wipe with a cloth soaked in a neutral soap solution. Repeat with the filter tray support
(Fig. 31).
IMPORTANT: Refs. 1602001 hopper, 1603011 evaporator tray, 1604006 front cover, 1604008
upper filter tray, 1604015 hopper track funnel, 1605002 drainage tray, 1607029 drip tray, and
1609002 filter tray, are made from heat-formed plastic. They must not be subjected to
temperatures higher than 40°C, so they should never be washed in very hot water or in a
dishwasher; if they are deformed by heat, the warranty will not apply.
1.4. USEFUL ADVICE
Do not place any objects on the drainage tray that might stop water from running through (Fig. 36).
Make sure the oranges fit easily into the cups chosen for squeezing, because if the cup is too
small it will pinch the peel and draw out oil which will make the juice taste bitter.
To get the maximum amount of juice, it is better for the cups not to be too much bigger than the
oranges being used.
The orange separator in the basket should be as close as possible to the size of oranges you are
using. If the oranges are large, they will not fall into the cup. If they are too small, various oranges
will drop into the cup.
Clean the photocell lenses regularly.
1.5. WARNINGS
"NO ORANGES" WARNING (1)
If the juicer does five cycles without the photocell at the front identifying any oranges (Fig. 32), the
"no oranges" warning will come up and the machine will go out of service.
"NO CUPS" WARNING (2)
When a service starts, the process goes as follows: the cup dispenser (Fig. 20) releases a cup
and if the cup photocell (Fig. 33) does not identify a cup it will repeat the operation; if, on the third
attempt, it still cannot see a cup, it will display a "no cups" warning and the machine will go out of
service.
"NO CHANGE" WARNING (3)
This sign is programmed from the coin box, depending on each manufacturer. In most cases, if
the machine has no change left it will only accept coins in the exact amount which then go into the
return tubes.
"MALFUNCTION" WARNING (4)
This lights up in the following cases:
-
If the juicing machine becomes blocked.
-
If the juicing tray is not fitted properly.
-
If the thermal cut-out of the juicer motor is activated.
-
If the filter cleaner is not working properly (diagram 24.1, no. 8).
-
If the cup dispenser is not working properly (Fig. 20).
