USB Configuration for Windows XP

1. Start up your PC and insert the driver disk into your floppy disk drive.
Windows will show a message notifying you that the PC has found new
hardware. Windows' Hardware Wizard will show a message stating that it is
ready to start installing the driver files to your PC. Click Next.
2. Click Continue Anyway.
3. Windows will display a message saying that it has finished installing the
driver files on your PC. Click Finish.
Your USB configuration is now complete.
Continue on to the Configuring Your Network
with the Cable/DSL Router section.

Installing the TCP/IP Protocol

Follow these instructions to install the TCP/IP protocol on one of your PCs only
after a network card has been successfully installed inside the PC. These
instructions are for Windows 95, 98, and ME. For TCP/IP setup under Windows
NT, 2000, or XP see your Windows NT, 2000 or XP documentation.
1. Click the Start button.
Choose
Settings,
then
Control Panel.
2. Double-click
on
the
Network icon to bring up
your
Network
window.
Select the Configuration
tab.
3. Click the Add button.
4. Click on Protocol.
5. Highlight Microsoft under
the list of manufacturers.
6. Find
and
double-click
TCP/IP in the list to the
right (below).
