USE INSTRUCTIONS
CHOICE OF THE IRON TEMPERATURE
Turn the iron temperature control knob (10) so that the proper temperature corresponds
to indicator (10.a) according to the type of cloth to be ironed.L
HOW TO FILL TANK (16) WITH WATER
• Remove the water tank (16) from the boiler shell (1), gripping
it by the slot at the bottom.
• Only use running water to fill tank (16) without exceeding
the maximum level indicator MAX.
• Never add detergents, chemical additives or water softeners.
• Put the tank (16) back into place making sure to secure it
firmly to the boiler shell (1)
STARTING UP
FOR STEAM IRONING
• Rest the appliance on a firm flat surface.
• Place the iron on base (2) of boiler shell (1).
• Fill up the water tank (16) as described in the previous paragraph.
• Completely unwind the power cord (7) and plug into the outlet.
• To turn on the appliance, turn the knob (6) to the ON position (I).
•The red light (6.a) below the knob (6) lights up indicating that the boiler is warming:
ONLY WHEN THE LIGHT (4) TURNS ON, THE APPLIANCE IS READY FOR STEAM
IRONING.
• Turn the iron temperature control knob (10) to the steam ironing position.
• The pilot light (11) on the iron will go on immediately and will go out a few minutes later,
when the required temperature is reached.
• During operation, the iron light (11) goes on and then automatically goes out indicating
that the iron temperature is constantly under control.
ENGLISH
High temperature steam ironing (cotton, linen)
Medium temperature steam ironing (wool, silk)
