WARNING!
- During use, the iron-boiler tube (8), the iron soleplate (14) and the boiler base (2)
become very hot. Do not touch them in order to avoid burns.
- on first use and each time the appliance is put into operation, the first time the
steam delivery buttons (12-13) are pressed, you will hear the sound of vibration
in the iron: this is quite normal and is due to the internal pump. The noise will
disappear after a few seconds.
IRONING
• Before ironing delicate fabrics it is best to make trial run on a hidden piece e.g.
the hem.
• We advise you to iron more delicate fabrics needing low temperatures first, then
go on ironing more resistant fabrics needing higher temperatures.
• Press button (12) on the iron for the steam jet: the steam will gradually stop coming
out when you release the button.
• Rest the iron on the boiler base (2) during ironing pauses.
• To use the continuous steam function, press the button (13) towards the handle.
• By placing the iron vertically at a distance of about 20 cm, you can dispense
steam to revive and refreshen fabrics.
• Do not this while you are wearing the garment because the steam is very hot
and can cause burns.
WARNING!
Some drops of water may leak out of the iron soleplate (14) when the first jet of steam
starts coming out; this is quite normal and is due to condensation forming inside the
iron-boiler connecting tube (8).
This will disappear with the following jets of steam. It is therefore not
recommended to point the first jet of steam directly on the item to be ironed. The iron
must be used and left at rest on a firm surface.
WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED IRONING
• To turn off the appliance, turn the knob (6) to the OFF position
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet.
• Rest the iron on base (2) and wait for the appliance to completely cool down before
storing it.
• Empty the water tank (16) and store the appliance in a safe place, out of reach of
children.
• Never wrap the power cord (8) around the iron, but store it by the iron side. Make sure
it does not hang from the resting surface causing hazardous situations.
When done using of the boiler and when it has not been used for an extended period
of time, we recommend completely emptying the boiler as follows:
