ATTENTION: Always perform operations with the plug disconnected and the
unit cold.
• Remove the cover of the drain outlet (18) by turning it counter-clockwise to " "
• unscrew the cap (15) with a screwdriver and tilt the base of the boiler to allow the
residual water to flow out.
• When finished emptying, screw on the cap (15) and replace the cover (18) in its seat.
ATTENTION: check that the gasket on the thread of the cap is present and in
good condition prior to tightening of the cap
DRY IRONING
• Rest the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
• Place the iron on the boiler support base (2).
• Completely unwind the cord (7) and plug into the outlet.
• To turn on the appliance, turn the knob (6) to the ON position
• Turn the iron temperature control knob (10) to the desired temperature (SEE THE
PARAGRAH "ADJUSTING TEMPERATURE OF THE IRON") (figure 1).
• The indicator lamp (11) on the iron will light up immediately and turn off after a few
minutes, once the desired temperature has been reached.
• When the indicator lamp (11) on the iron turns off, the appliance is ready for use.
• The indicator light (11) on the iron will light up and go off automatically while ironing to
show that the soleplate is being kept at a constant temperature.
• To turn off the appliance, turn the knob of thermostat to the min position, then turn the
knob (6) to the OFF position.
• Rest the iron on the support base (2) and wait for the appliance to completely cool
down before putting it away.
STAND-BY FUNCTION
- If steam emission buttons (12 and 13) are not pressed for 15 minutes (both
during steam ironing that dry ironing), the unit will turn to standby mode. The
lights on front panel remain lighted up, but by pressing the steam buttons the
pump doesn't work and you will not hear any noise.
- To reactivate the normal product functions, power cycle the product.
VERTICAL IRONING
To "liven up" the clothes hung on cloth hangers, curtains, etc. you can use the iron
vertically:
• Set the temperature control knob (10) to the MAX position.
• Hold the iron in a vertical position at a distance of about 15-20 cm from the fabric.
