3.7 Safety devices

•
Self-stopping device: Engages automatically after 20 minutes without working (STOP). The ON/OFF switch (11) starts the
system again.
•
Guard (20): Prevents the trigger from accidental operating.
•
Shear self-stopping device: Engages automatically after 30 seconds without working (SAFE). It is started again by pulling
the trigger 2-3 times.
•
Shear led light (16): Shows whether the tool is on or off.

INSTALLATION

4.1 Starting

•
Take the components out of the case.
•
Recharge the battery (1) by means of the charger (34) (see par. 5.3).
•
Fit the battery (1) onto the backpack (4) following the instructions in par. 4.1.2.
•
Fit the display (10) onto the backpack belt (4), either on the left or on the right.
•
Connect the display to the battery (1) by means of the connector (7).
•
Connect the shear to the battery (1) by means of the connector (6).
•
Make the shear and display cables pass through the loops (27)
4.1.1

Battery installation onto the backpack

•
Remove the backpack (4) and the battery (1) from the case.
•
Insert the holder (32) into the backpack hole (4).
•
Insert the small belt into the loop in the upper part of the battery (1).
IMPORTANT!
If the backpack (4) is assembled in the right way, the charger connector (8) can be reached without removing the
battery (1).
4.1.2

Assembly for the shear left-handed use

The battery flexible electronic unit (21) is always supplied for a shear right-handed use.
To turn the flexible electronic unit (21) into a left-handed use, carry out the following operations:
- Remove the two screws (35).
- Make a 180° rotation of the flexible electronic unit (21) without disconnecting the inner cable.
- Tighten the two screws (35) positioning the holder (32) into the battery rear part (1).
