Boiler rated heating power adjustment.
The Victrix 24 kW boiler is produced with heat output set to maximum.
Therefore it is advisable not to change that setting. If the heating power
has to be reduced, this must be done as described in the paragraph "pos-
sible adjustments".
3.10 Circulating pump operation.
Using the selector (8 page 202) two circulating pump operational modes
can be selected in heating phase.
With the jumper present, circulating pump operation is activated by the
room thermostat or the Remote Friend Control; with the jumper not present
the circulating pump always stays on during the Winter phase.
3.11 Domestic hot water selector switch.
With the "correlated" thermostat setting, the boiler switches off on the basis
of the temperature set using the domestic hot water adjustment selector
switch. While with the setting of the "fixed" domestic hot water thermostat
the switch-off temperature is fixed on the maximum value independently
from the position of the selector switch.

3.12 "Flue Cleaning" function.
When activated, this function forces the boiler to run for 15 minutes at
an output that may vary from a minimum to a maximum level set during
calibration, according to the position of the heating dial.
In this mode all the adjustments are cut out and only the temperature safety
thermostat and the limit thermostat remain active. To activate the flue
cleaning function, turn the main selector (2) to Reset (see page 195) for at
least 8 seconds, with the boiler on Stand-by; its activation is signalled by the
flue cleaning symbol (see page 195). This function allows the technician to
check the combustion parameters. After the checks deactivate the function,
switching the boiler off and then on again.
3.13 Pump antiblocking function.
During the "Summer" phase the boiler is equipped with a function that
starts the pump at least once every 24 hours for the duration of 30 seconds
in order to reduce the risk of the pump becoming blocked due to prolonged
inactivity.
3.14 Three-way antiblocking function.
Both in "domestic" and in "domestic-heating" phase the boiler is equipped
with a function that starts the three-way motorized group 24 hours after it
was last in operation, running it for a full cycle so as to reduce the risk of
the three-way group becoming blocked due to prolonged inactivity.
3.15 Permanent reduction of timing function.
The boiler is equipped with an electronic timer which prevents too frequent
burner lighting in the heating phase. The boiler comes standard with the
timer adjusted to 3 minutes. To bring the timer to 30 seconds, remove the
jumper (6) (see page 202).
3.16 Radiator antifreeze function.
During the "Winter" phase the boiler is equipped with a function that starts
the pump at least once every 3 hours for the duration of 30 seconds.
If the system return water is below 4°C, the boiler starts up until reaching
30°C.

3.17 Heating delivery temperature value.
Using the selector (7 page 202) two delivery temperature ranges can be
selected in heating phase. With the jumper present the temperature range
is 85° - 25°.
With the jumper not present the temperature range is 50° - 25°.
