5. INSTALLATION
5.1. INSTALLATION OF THE MACHINE
Install the machine on a level, smooth and dry
surface suitable for supporting the weight of the
machine itself plus the products to be sliced.
See section 3.1.
WARNING: Verify that there are no obstacles to
the plate travel and to the loading of products
to be sliced onto the plate Itself.
5.2. DESCRIPTION OF COMMANDS
5.2.1. Start and stop buttons
- Press the start button (1) to start blade oper-
ation;
- the lighting of the indicator (2, standby) indi-
cates that the machine is properly powered;
- press the stop button (2) to stop blade motion.
5.2.2. Suce thickness adjustment knob
The slice thickness can be adjusted by rotating
the knob (3) with the graduated scale anticlock-
wise.
- check operation and adjustment of the thick-
ness gauge plate;
- check the sliding of the meat table and the
product holder.
5.3. ELECTRICAL HOOK UP
The machine must be installed in the immediate
vicinity of an EEC standard outlet connected to a
system which is in conformity with the prevailing
regulations and which has:
- magneto-thermic protection;
- automatic differential switch;
- earthing system.
Before carrying out electrical hook up verify
that the characteristics of the electrical power
mains are in agreement with those indicated on
the machine information plate.
The machines are equipped with an electrical
cable about two metres long which are pre-
pared for outlet-plug power systems in order to
allow easy disconnection from the power mains
in the required conditions (maintenance, end of
shift, etc.).

If the power cable is not long enough due to
specific installation needs, request assistance
from qualified and authorised personnel. Do not
carry out "movable" type electrical connections.
