VI. Cleaning and Maintenance
When use the rst time, clean the unit with detergent before use. Wipe up
the cooker. Keep it clean and dry. Do not scrub the surface with metal brush or
hard tools. Do not pile up the cooker or cling to other metal units.
Lid
- Do not use dishwasher.
- Clean the valve pipe and pressure-limiting valve, pressing the piston,
using a thin stick, after that ush water.
Body
- Normal wash or dishwasher use if it is made of stainless steel. If aluminium,
do not use dishwasher machine.
- Sometimes, due to the kind of food cooked and additives used, and the
lime content in water, white or bluish stains can appear, that do not a ect
stainless steel qualities. All these stains disappear rubbing with vinegar.
Do not leave bleach (even diluted), tomato sauce or salted water for long
time to avoid corrosion.
Sealant ring
- Special silicon sealant ring designed for long duration (more than 500 hours)
- Clean it while cleaning the lid without taking it out.
- Color change or fading it is not a problem as long as it is not damaged. It
is recommend to replace the sealant ring after 1-2 years.
Changing the sealant ring:
Take out the sealant ring and clean. Place the new ring adjusting it
to the lid.
Safety valve
Change it, if the thread is worn-out. You should change the boit sleeve
and the ball bearing.
