Problem
Steam escapes from the
rim of the cooker
Working valve doesn't
work
The lid cannot be opened
Causes
The lid and the rim do not fit properly
or are not tighten enough.
The valve base is stuffed to blockage.
There are some solid particles on the
rubber ring.
The ring is worn out.
The pressure in the cooker is too high.
There is not enough water in the
cooker for steam.
The pressure in the cooker is too low.
The valve base is stuffed.
The cooker gets chilly, there is
negative pressure inside

Solution
Release all the steam by revolving
the knob, then try the operation again
until no more steam comes out.
Open the lid and check it.
Open the lid and wash the ring.
Change the rubber ring.
Turn down the fire.
Add some water into the cooker.
Turn up the fire.
Clean the pipes and the holes of the
valve.
Lift the valve and let air in.
