Should any of the side mechanisms fail or be damaged, please refer to a Nolan authorized dealer.
PEAK
(Available as standard or accessory/spare part).
The peak can be assembled over the visor or, in absence of the latter, over the side plates.
The peak can also be adjusted in two positions by turning it upwards or downwards (Fig. 4).
WARNING
When riding on the road, the peak must be adjusted to the highest position "0" (Fig. 4).
3
Peak Disassembly
To disassemble the peak first remove the lateral latches - see instructions above.
Remove the peak from the side mechanisms so that the peak inner bayonets "B" come out of their housing (Fig. 5).
Reassemble the lateral latches - see instructions above.
4
Peak Assembly
To assemble the peak first remove the lateral latches (see instructions above).
4.1
Place the left side of the peak on the corresponding side mechanism and insert the inner bayonets "B" in their special hou-
sing in the side mechanism (Fig. 5).
4.2
Reassemble the left lateral latch (see instructions above).
4.3
Follow the same steps on the right side of the helmet.
WARNING
-
The peak can be assembled over the visor or, in absence of the latter, over the side plates.
-
When riding on the road, the peak must be adjusted to the highest position "0" (Fig. 4).
-
Check that the mechanisms work properly and that the lateral latches have been correctly assembled. Rotate the peak
upwards or downwards making sure that the mechanisms hold it in the two different positions. If necessary, repeat the above-
mentioned steps.
-
Do not force the peak over its end positions. This may cause damages to the peak, mechanisms or lateral latches.
-
Do not use the helmet if the peak and the latches have not been assembled properly.
-
If the peak is assembled over the visor check the performance of the visor itself by lifting up and lowering it completely.
NOTE: In this configuration, i.e. with the peak assembled over the visor, during the last phase of the visor opening, the visor
reaches the peak which must rotate further until it reaches a higher position than "0" (Fig 6). During the closing of the visor, the
