TAKING CARE OF THE GRASS
The current technology advancement allow us to create machines that reduce the work
in the garden when cutting the grass (lawnmower with catcher). To obtain a dense
green grass is necessary to cut it frequently and to air it regularly, providing it with the
necessary fertilizer. Always keep the blade in good state and sharpened. Otherwise the
grass will be uprooted and it will turn yellow.
Use the lawnmower in a straight line in order to obtain a better finish. The cutting
frequency will depend on the growth speed of the grass ( May – June). It will be
essential to cut once or twice per week. In the rest of the seasons it will be enough to
cut it once a week.
The height of the grass should be between 4-6cm. It will have to be cut when it has
grown again between 4 and 5 cm.

MAINTENANCE

Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning work you should unplug the spark
plug pipe. After work you should clean your lawnmower. NEVER USE WATER TO
CLEAN THE LAWNMOWER. DO NOT USE DISSOLVENT OR AGGRESSIVE
PRODUCTS TO CLEAN! If water floods the ignition system and the carburettor it will
cause damages and failures.
In order to remove the grass and to clean the dirt use a cloth or a hand brush.
Only clean the machine with the engine off and cold.
Always keep the lawnmower in a dry place.
If you tilt the lawnmower, you will have take into consideration that the carburettor faces
upwards.
PROFESSIONAL TECHNICAL SERVICE IS REQUIRED
- After hitting an obstacle or passing over it.
- When the engine stops suddenly.
- When the blade is twisted.
- When the engine crankshaft is twisted.
