STARTING THE ENGINE

1.
Starting a cold engine
a). Place the START / RUN lever to the START position.
b). Press the engine brake lever and hold it so that the engine is on. (Page 21)
c). Pull the starting rope until you notice some resistance and then pull with
energy until the engine starts.
d). Move the START / RUN lever to the "RUN" position

Starting a warm engine
a). Move the START / RUN lever to the "RUN" position

b). Pull the starting rope until you notice some resistance and then pull with
energy until the engine starts.
3.
Stopping the engine
Release the engine brake lever and the engine will stop. (Page 21)
WARNING! : The blade takes seconds to stop totally. Do not place your hands
under the lawnmower!

ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT

The cutting height adjustment is carried out with only one lever. (Page 21)
When it is hot or dry you should leave the grass approximately 1.5 cm higher to avoid
the drying of the ground.
Select the cutting height in a way that the air movement created inside the housing
could move the cut grass to the catcher. If the cutting height is too low, the air
movement will be so small that the catcher will not fill and the grass will be blocked
inside the lawnmower housing.
