7.3 Selection of measure parameters

Once the main options are selected, press «ON» and the measure screen will appear.
Use «TAB» to jump across the fields, and then «ENTER» to modify its value.
SP: Indicates the spindle used in the measure.
RPM: Indicates the speed used in the measure.
d: Density.
Press «ENTER» key and
From the «SP» and «RPM» values, the «Max» field shows the EoS (End of scale).
Note : The viscosimeter only shows the spindles which are compatible with its model.

Note: Selectable speeds must into 18 pre-defined values.

IMPORTANT: Selecting a spindle which does not correspond to the one assembled will
cause measurement errors.
If we press the «QUIT» key, we'll return to the outlet configuration screen, losing all
data inserted in the measurement configuration.

7.4 Measurement screen

Data on screen is updated every reading is made (a reading is made every time the
spindle turns):

The % factor indicates the reading percentage over the maximum measurable value
with the combination spindle - speed. This value should be the highest possible.
«QUIT»:
You can modify the rotation speed without leaving the measurement screen.
«START/STOP»
The following message appears:
Pause ends when pressing «START/STOP» again.

7.5 Storing readings.

El STS-2011 puede leer y almacenar lecturas de forma programada para posteriormente
descargarlas en un ordenador vía USB.
Inicialmente se programa la hora de inicio, fin e intervalo entre lecturas. Las lecturas
quedan almacenadas en el viscosimetro. Finalmente se descargan vía USB a un
ordenador.
Configurating data storing:
- Check that main time its properly set. (See 6.3.1.3)

Modify the density value only to meassure static viscosity.
For dynamic usual viscosity left at 1.0000 (Factory set)
to change its value.
