Determination of the cable length —
example
The downstream safety evaluation to which the IN4000
Direct is connected draws up to 75 mA on each of the
two safety inputs. All relevant values can be
determined using Tab. 7 on page 173.
• In column I
find a current V 75 mA (example:
out
90 mA).
• The maximum cable length can be taken from the L
column (example: 15 m).
• The maximum cable resistance allowed can be
taken from the R
column (example: 1.4 T)
