DGCI-...
Depending on the design, the connections have screw connectors or plugs.
The screw connectors are marked with different colours on the release ring
(direction recognition).
With sizes DGCI-...-QR the compressed air connection can only be made on
one side (right). The connections on the left must not be used (conversion by
our Repair Service is possible).
With the variants DGCI (without marking), DGCI-...-Q and DGCI-...-QD the com-
pressed air connection can not be made on one side (conversion by our Repair
Service is possible).
With stroke lengths > 600 mm we always recommend compressed air supply on
both sides.
Only bilateral air supply will guarantee optimum dynamics.
Controlling the DGCI
S
Use proportional directional control valve
MPYE or VPWP for controlling the speed
and the positioning.
Fig. 14 This is shown in a circuitry example.
Note
This circuit is not suitable for stopping the
slide in the event of a pressure failure.
Fitting the electric components
S
Connect the earthing strap 9 (width:
4.8 mm) with earth potential. You will
require here a flat plug as per DIN 46246-2
and a flexible, insulated cable.
– Cable cross-sectional area
min. 2.5 mm
– Cable length max. 10 m.
S
Wire the measuring system connection 8
with the control system.
Only the original cable may be used for
this purpose.
