6. Installing the transmitter/charging station
• Connect the power supply to the power socket on the
rear side of the transmitter.
• Connect the power supply to a mains socket.
• Connect the RCA plugs of the audio adapter cable to the
RCA sockets on the rear side of the transmitter. Connect
the other end (jack plug) to the headphone jack of your
audio source (television, hi-fi system, DVD player, MP3
player, etc.).
Note
• The green LED indicator on the transmitter lights
up if you have switched on the audio device. The
transmitter will automatically switch off after about 4
minutes if it does not receive an audio signal.
• If, however, an audio signal is detected, the
transmitter will automatically switch on.
7. Installing the receiver/headphones, Fig. 2
• Carefully pull off the earpad on the right-hand side.
• Insert the two batteries supplied, making sure you
observe correct polarity.
• Reinsert the earpad until it audibly clicks into place.
• Switch off the headphones, and place them in the charg-
ing station for at least 12 hours before using them for the
first time. The red LED is lit during charging.

8. Getting started
• Turn on the audio source connected to the transmitter (TV
or audio player). The green LED lights up.
• Put the on/off switch of the headphones in the ON
position. The red power indicator lights up.
• The green signal indicator lights up once as soon as the
signal connection between the transmitter and head-
phones has been set up.
• Put the headphones on and set the volume to the desired
level.
Note
• If you cannot get an optimum signal frequency, press
the Tune button on the headphones.
• The Tune button can also be used to improve stereo
reception. In this case, however, you should keep a
distance of 7 m from the transmitter.
• If you cannot get an adequate frequency, change the
frequency channel on the rear side of the transmitter.
Then select the corresponding channel on the
headphones by pressing the Tune button.
The transmitter will automatically switch off if it receives no
audio signal for approximately 4 minutes, or if the signal
from the audio source is too weak for flawless reception. As
soon as the signal strength is sufficient, the transmitter will
automatically switch back on.
9. Charging, Fig. 3
• Put the on/off switch of the headphones in the OFF
position.
• Place the headphones in the charging station as shown,
and make sure that the charging contacts of both devices
properly touch each other.
• The red LED indicator should be lit. Charging begins
automatically.
Note
• To prevent damage to the batteries, always switch off
the headphones when they are not in use.
• Before using them for the first time, the batteries
should be fully charged. To guarantee an acceptable
charge, the batteries should initially be charged for 12
hours. Make sure that the headset receiver is switched
off during charging.
