- This symbol means: protected against access to
hazardous parts with a finger and against vertically
falling water drops when tilted up to 15 degrees.
- This symbol means that an applied part that
includes a patient connection intended to deliver
electrical energy or an electrophysiological signal
to or from the patient must be Type BF (Body
Floating) applied, according to IEC 60601-1.
The applied part is the device not including the
charger.
