ENGLISH
The valve carries out two operating attempts and whenever possible, will try to
position itself in fi ltration to show the error.
At fi rst it does not require any action from the manufacturer's Technical Service.
In case of requiring their help with this type of error, we recommend that
whenever possible, the valve and actuator are sent together.
- Flashes six times: failure of the distributor ascend micro.
- Flashes eight times: an error is activated that indicates that more than 3
wash programmes of the fi lter have been carried out in less than 24 h activated
by a pressure sensor. This is indicative of some error in the pressure switch
adjustment, or either the cable or the pressure switch are faulty.
To restart the error indication in the valve it is necessary to disconnect the valve's power
supply from the control box for a few seconds (until all the LEDs have been switched off).
4.7 BACKWASH PUSH BUTTON
This valve incorporates a push button in the control cover that allows a fi lter wash
routine to be started (backwash + rinse) without having to operate the pressure switch
and the return valve.
The valve should be correctly connected to the electrical cabinet and the fi ltration
programme timer activated.
Only a single press starts the routine, and it can be cancelled at any time by once
again pressing the push button, so that the valve returns to the fi ltration position.
During the valve's change of position, the LED of the push button fl ashes.
Once the routine has fi nished, the valve returns to fi ltration. The times for wash and
rinse will be those determined on the valve's cover.
The LED also indicates the activation of the pressure switch when the pressure
exceeds the adjusted value. See "Adjustment of the pressure switch" in this manual.
5. DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

5.1 VALVE DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

The automatic valve consists of two sections, the hydraulic part which includes a
conventional valve and an automatic module.
The fi lter valve is disassembled in the same manner as a manual valve.
5.2 HOW TO DISASSEMBLE THE ELECTRONIC MODULE:
(illustrations in APPENDIX 1) BEFORE ANY OPERATION IS CARRIED OUT ON THE
VALVE, IT MUST DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY.
Disassembly: First remove the four screws which hold the cover (1) in place. (Fig. 2).
Disconnect all input wires to the module (AAPPENDIX 1 - Fig. 8). WARNING: All mains
power supply connections must be removed fi rst.
Refi t the cover 1 (Fig. 2)
Remove the three screws (11) which hold the module in place on the valve (Fig. 3).
Carefully remove the module in an upwards direction.
Protect inside suitable packaging to prevent any damage and send it to the manufacturer.
From this point there are two possibilities:
1. Replacement of the module.
2. Temporarily convert the system to manual valve operation.
