WARNING!
Campagnolo spare parts must only be installed by qualified mechanicals with
specialised skills and tools and adequate experience, following the installation
instructions precisely. Installation by unqualified persons may cause malfun-
ctions, accidents and serious or even fatal injury.
6.3 - INSTRUCTIONS AND PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Maintenance intervals are strictly approximate and may vary significantly in relation
to the intensity and conditions of use (for example: competitions, rain, winter roads
with salt, weight of the athlete, etc.). Schedule the appropriate maintenance with your
mechanic.
• To keep the pads in optimum condition and to avoid wear on the sides of the rims,
check your brake pads constantly. Use a file to immediately remove any foreign
bodies which could be deposited on the pads themselves.
• When replacing brake pads, cables and casings - only use original Campagnolo
spare parts.
• Have the tightening torque of the brake locking screws, pad locking screws and the
cable screws checked periodically by a mechanic.
• When carrying out maintenance on your bicycle, do not allow oil or grease to con-
taminate the brake pads.
