First use
Before using the cooker for the first time, we recommend cleaning all the
parts well with hot water, liquid detergents, and non-scratching dishcloths.
Do not put the lid in the dishwasher, even if you can so do with it attached to
the body.
Fill the cooker body with water up to 2/3 of its height (1).
• Close the cooker (see previous page: Close).
• Place the cooker on top of a heat source at maximum level and select the
desired type of cooking (pressure level).
• When steam begins to leave from the operating valve, reduce the heat to a
minimum level and set time for 20 minutes.
• When the 20 minutes have passed, turn off the heat completely.
• To depressurize the pressure cooker, move the pressure selector in this
position. There will be a strong flow of stream through the valve, which will
reduce as the interior pressure dissipates.
• To reduce the pressure more quickly, you can cold the cooker by pouring
a small stream of water on the lid. When the seal is worm out, rapid and
violent decompression can occur, which means that this should always be
carried with the utmost caution.
• When steam stops leaving the operating valve, remove the valve with the
help of a damp cloth and open the cooker.
• Wash and dry the cooker lid and body.
