Cleaning the machine
Danger!
Electric shock possible!
Pull out the mains power plug before starting work!
Do not use a high pressure cleaner or steam ejector for cleaning.
If you remove the sealing pad for cleaning, protect the sealing
cylinder against humidity.
Danger!
Danger of fire when using disinfectants containing alcohol!
Ensure sufficient ventilation.
Do not use any open flames close to the machine.
Do not smoke.
Warning!
Risk of injury!
Wear protective glasses and protective gloves when carrying out
cleaning work!
Do not use a caustic solution or any aggressive cleaning agents,
such as vinegar, for example.
Only use a suitable cleaning agent for Plexiglas when cleaning the
cover (e.g. Crystal Clear from the company Hilco).
Observe the safety instructions on the cleaning agents and
disinfectants.
Note!
If necessary, use an alcohol-based disinfectant (e.g. isopropyl
alcohol).

Note!
The vacuum chamber is soiled with oil.
If you switch off the machine during the packaging process by pressing
the main switch, e.g. in order to clean the machine with closed lid, it
might occur that oil from the vacuum pump enters into the chamber.
Do not switch off the machine by pressing the main switch during
the packaging process.
Unhook the gas spring in order to close the lid.
Cleaning the Plexiglas cover:
Wipe with clean water or a suitable cleaning agent for Plexiglas (temperature a
maximum of 40°C).
Do not use any other cleaning agent for the cover.
Re-rinse with clean water
Dry the cover properly.
Cleaning the machine:
Remove all coarse pieces of waste (e.g. meat remains) by hand.
If you remove the sealing pad for cleaning, protect the sealing cylinder against
humidity.
Only clean the device with a neutral cleaning agent or hot water (temperature a
maximum of 40°C).
Wipe down with damp cloth and clean water.
Properly dry the vacuum chamber and the insertion plates after cleaning.
Disinfecting the machine (if necessary):
Spray the machine with an alcohol-based disinfectant.
Allow the disinfectant to act for a sufficiently long period of time.
Re-rinse with clean water.
Dry the machine properly.
