9. Pairing with a Bluetooth® mobile phone
This procedure pairs your Bluetooth® mobile phone with the SCS kit. It must
be done the first time you use your phone with the kit that will be detected as
a normal earpiece.
Proceed as follows:
• With the device switched off, press the ON button and keep it pressed
for 8 seconds (a triple high-pitched tone is emitted) to enter the phone
pairing mode
• Add a Bluetooth® device on your phone (see the phone's instruction
manual)
• The phone will show the devices detected, select SuomyCom (or the
name you set using the configurator)
• The phone will require a password, enter
• If the pairing is successful, you will hear a tone of confirmation
NOTE: some phones do not connect automatically after entering the code
0000. In this case, proceed in one of the following ways:
• Press (medium) the ON button and
• Proceed with the connection as shown in the user's manual of the phone
via the Bluetooth® menu of your phone
